I recently attended a work Xmas party at Ecco Drummoyne, and when reading through the reviews, I came across a remark written by 956danielae, who expressed dissatisfaction with the food and service at the establishment. I was there at the same party and can witness to the fact that the exact opposite was true. The cuisine was generally satisfactory, and in some occasions, it was fantastic. Given her tendency to be a fuss pot, it’s safe to assume that this individual did not try any of it. It was a social gathering, a Christmas celebration for the love of ‘Christ’! …if she want particular attention as well as exquisite cuisine, she should return and maybe pay for her dinner. I have no affiliation with this company and find it offensive when individuals disparage a place of business only on the basis of their eccentric flaws and not on the basis of reality for the majority of the 120 or so people that attend the event in question. You may correct me if I’m wrong, but when you’re offered arancini, fried calamari, fried zucchini blossoms, oysters, risotto croquettes, prawns, risotto, barramundi, spatchcock, and so on, how could you possible be disappointed? The meal quality was wonderful (956danielae did not sample any of it), and the service provided by the waiting staff was superb, especially given the circumstances. In particular, staff member Denise and the young lady with an American accent deserve special note.
Ecco At Drummoyne seems to be a fantastic setting for both quiet dinners and rowdy/fun parties, and it appears to be ideal for both. Aside from that, the views are spectacular.
This establishment comes highly recommended by me!
