Born in Kyoto in 1991, he developed a passion for cooking at a young age and began making foods such as omelets on his own throughout his elementary school years. Though he had previously shown an interest in exploring the world of French cuisine, it was the beauty and wonder of Japanese cuisine that made an effect on him and ultimately determined his career path. After graduating from high school, he began working and training in a Japanese restaurant in Kiyamachi, and at the age of 24, he was invited to join the Wakuden family. After working at Muromachi Wakuden for 27 years, he moved on to Kodaiji Wakuden for 32 years, then at 37, he returned to Muromachi Wakuden as head chef, where he is now employed.
