Beautiful surroundings with breathtaking views. Excellent size and design in the “modernist industrial chic” approach… Very great. Beautiful bathroom with a shower and other amenities… The lighting in the bedroom is rather interesting! The bed was not particularly comfortable, with stiff cushions and a rough mattress… It is necessary to improve the quality. Breakfast (continental style with loads of carbohydrates) was excellent…but there was just too much of it for me. Copious. It’s a restaurant…. I was disappointed with the cuisine, which I would rate as 1 star rather than 2 stars. There were two predetermined menus – one large and one tiny – but there was plenty of room for variation between the two. Although the lobster was properly cooked, the beginning of tomato and langoustine didn’t really work. The mushroom dish, on the other hand, was delicious. The fish was also excellent, albeit a little on the pricey side. The meat was quite rough. A large selection of cheeses from throughout the region. The bread was most likely from a restaurant, but it had a texture that was too much like “cake” and was too firm…. Dessert was excellent, and the appetizers that followed were also excellent. Excellent wine list with a large selection. The presentation was “interesting” and “innovative” in general.
